Vincent Buet is currently Consumer Marketing Director of the Audio Video & Communication category of Philips. In this position, he is in charge of the marketing and the strategy for Home Communication products as well as for Audio & Video accessories (cables, power solutions, antennas).
Vincent has spent 13 years in the Philips group in various marketing and product creation positions in France and Singapore, mainly in the mobile phones and residential phones businesses.
Vincent holds a Master of Marketing Management from the HEC Business School and an Electronics Engineering degree.

Pieter Hermans, chairman of the jury with no voting rights

Pieter Hermans has over 20 years experience in the telecom/ICT/CE industry both as a manager in international vendor/IT companies and as a consultant.
He has presented many conferences worldwide over the last 20 years. Mr. Hermans has also authored several articles for leading trade publications.
He was formerly international marketing manager at Philips Electronics for CD products and services, and later moved to Elektroson as CEO. Before Jakajima, Mr. Hermans was partner at media consultancy GEA, advising the publishing industry, service providers, and network operators in a wide variety of media and IT related projects.
He gained a MSc degree in industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Erich Kamperschroer
Chairman of the DECT Forum, the worldwide acting industry association of the global cordless devices industry.
With more than 670 Mio devices sold and growing by more than 100 Mio devices per year, DECT, DECT 6.0* and their successor CAT-iq* are worldwide adopted technologies with high relevance for cordless voice and home networking. CAT-iq drives the convergence of telephony (voice) and broadband networks (data). CAT-iq provides new application categories and product devices over the next years.
Erich holds a degree in Communications Engineering and has more than 15 years experience in telecommunication. As an innovation manager at several positions he always has been an inventor and a visionary who today holds more than 20 patents.
Erich is renowned as visionary speaker in the telecommunications and home networking field and has held presentations at many events all over the world – for example at the Wireless Connectivity in Singapore, at the ITU Telecom World in Hong Kong, or at the CES in Las Vegas.

Sofia is the founder and CEO of Ocean Observations, a Swedish company focused on designing usable, useful and beautiful mobile applications and handsets.
She has during the company’s 7 years of existence always advocated the importance of focusing on the end-user and been highly active in projects for clients such has Hutchison 3, Samsung, Skype, Ikivo, Ericsson, O2 and Nordisk Mobiltelefon.
Part from working with clients she has also lectured on user experience at conferences and universities around the world and has come up with patent pending solutions for mobile GUIs.
Prior to Ocean Observations Sofia worked as an information designer for 4 years at the Razorfish offices in Stockholm, London and New York.
At the Stockholm office she co-founded the department of Information Design and held the role as Mobile Experience Lead.
